Emeril Is Out!

Lagasse & The Food Network couldn’t work out the contract so Emeril’s last day will be December 11th. Don’t worry fans, I’m sure you can watch reruns of that crap for the next hundred years. I watch it when I need a little cat nap but I can’t snooze for more than 10 minutes. It’s the same show over & over again, so it’s boring enough to put me to sleep, then he inevitably yells BAM! to wake me up before the first commercial. I always turn the channel before the commercial airs so I don’t have to accidentally see or hear Rachael Ray. If they got rid of her I would watch FN 24 hours a day!

Anthony Bourdain Is A Good One!

WHY?
His show, No Reservations on The Travel Chanel rocks!! And he feels the same disdain that those of us that don’t worship Black Jesus, I mean, Oprah Winfrey, feel for Rachael Ray. Do you not ask, who is this woman & why is she in my face? The voice, the weird body, the lack of cooking skills ( yea that’s right, do you’re research!) Anyway, here’s a recent quote –

“She’s got a magazine, a TV empire, all these best-selling books – I’m guessing she’s not hurting for money. She’s hugely influential, particularly with children. And she’s endorsing Dunkin’ Donuts. It’s like endorsing crack for kids.” Bourdain adds: “I’m not a very ethical guy. I don’t have a lot of principles. But somehow that seems to me over the line. Juvenile diabetes has exploded. Half of Americans don’t have necks. And she’s up there saying, ‘Eat some [bleeping] Dunkin’ Donuts. You look great in that swimsuit – eat another doughnut!’ That’s evil.”
